This will be the springboard to youth-led prosperity. The third edition of the Campus Converge series is designed to further empower university and TVET youth by providing them with critical tech-enabled job access, essential soft skills, and invaluable peer mentorship. This event reinforces the understanding that job creation is a systemic process, not a matter of chance.
Through interactive sessions and direct engagement with industry professionals, participants will gain practical knowledge and connections that accelerate their entry into the workforce or entrepreneurial ventures. This hangout is a vital component of TEJATI's strategy to cultivate a generation of skilled, connected, and proactive youth leaders who can drive their own prosperity and contribute significantly to Kenya's economic landscape.
Edition 3 of Campus Converge will focus on advanced digital skills, including specialized coding bootcamps, cybersecurity awareness, and AI literacy. Workshops will hone soft skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication, which are highly valued by employers. A dedicated segment will connect youth with tech incubators and accelerators, providing pathways for aspiring startup founders. The event will also feature a "reverse job fair" where companies pitch their opportunities to talented youth, fostering direct recruitment. Testimonials from successful alumni of previous Campus Converge editions will demonstrate the long-term impact of the program, inspiring new participants to leverage the TEJATI network for their career growth and entrepreneurial aspirations.
