8. TEJATI Campus Converge: Jobs Activation Hangout (Edition 1)

This will be where dreams meet direction. This high-energy youth hangout is specifically designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical career pathways for campus and TVET youth. It offers a hands-on, interactive experience focused on empowering students with essential skills and direct access to opportunities within the TEJATI ecosystem.

Participants will engage in career ideation workshops, receive peer mentorship, and gain valuable digital skilling. The event provides direct access to TEJATI’s diverse job pathways, helping students transition from the classroom to real-world opportunities. It's the starting point where aspirations are transformed into actionable career plans, marking the beginning of a journey from education to employment and entrepreneurship.

Edition 1 of Campus Converge will feature dynamic speakers from various industries, successful young entrepreneurs, and HR professionals who will share insights into current job market trends and future skills demands. Interactive booths will allow students to explore different career paths, participate in mock interviews, and receive personalized CV feedback. Digital skilling sessions will cover topics like coding fundamentals, digital marketing, and data analytics, equipping students with in-demand competencies. The peer mentorship component will connect students with slightly older, successful youth who can provide guidance and support. This event is designed to be a catalyst, igniting ambition and providing the practical tools and connections necessary for students to confidently navigate their career journeys and contribute to Kenya's economic growth.
